Boston, hands down, but maybe that was due to the company. Jared, Kelly and the kids took us to Boston the day after we flew into Connecticut.
Everyone loved exploring a navy ship.

Katelyn was a good captain.

Did I mention I love Boston?

The beginning of the freedom trail.

Yes, we decided to climb this memorial on Bunker Hill. I had Jason in the carrier, Dave carried Bethany, and the girls climbed it on their own up 294 steps, 20 stories high. The power of cousin pressure was incredible for Elisa and Mckenzie.

You think we wore them out? Food couldn't come fast enough at Quincy Market.

Stowes. Ok, this dive has the best seafood ever! Kelly watched the girls and Jared took us for the best lobster and shrimp I have ever had, right by the ocean in Connecticut.

The conductor on the train ride into New York made little paper men out of tickets for the girls. It was like being on the polar express.

Come to find out Elisa is a little afraid of heights. She didn't really like being on the top of Rockefeller Center.

Lunch in Trump Tower.

The girls loved the famous piano at FAO.

American Girl is a dangerous place to take girls, but we did it anyway and paid dearly for it. Mckenzie was very happy to get a Julie doll.

I have never heard people count up to four so many times, and then tell me I have four children as if I didn't know.

Pretty fun for a cold day at lighthouse point.

Poor Jared's ankle paid for that game of tag at the beach, but it was fun and he can still outrun me even with a gimpy leg.

We had a cake, so why not sing to Dave, and Sam since they have the next birthdays.

Jason started rolling over!!!

We all miss you Uncle Sam!!!

Kelly might not forgive me for this picture at the park near their home, but I think it has a lot of symbolism. She lives probably the most balanced life I know, she is amazing! Thank you Jared and Kelly for a much needed vacation.
